The second version of the speech development of children with early infantile autism is significantly different from the first. In these cases the typical delay the formation of speech: the first sounds appear in 3-5 months, babbling, in the 5-11 months, and sometimes parents do not say it, the first words - from 1 year 2 months to 3 years. These words also do not have the nature of treatment, and represent a stereotyped set of word stamps.
Typical are the persistent violation of the pronunciation sound permutations of sounds in words, the slow rate of speech (in rare cases - faster). Because of the low mental tone there is no motivation for speech activity, so the vocabulary is accumulated slowly by rote and secured by a child inclination to stereotype. The development of phrase speech very difficult, spontaneous sentences are not written correctly: not used prepositions, words do not change for gender and number, verbs in question are found mainly in the infinitive form, adjectives are virtually absent. Great difficulties arise in connection with the use of personal pronouns: the pronoun "I" is not used, the child says about himself in the second or third person ("Toll - walk.") With age, accumulated a large number of clichés, quotations from favorite poems, songs, fairy tales (the children prefer to listen to their recordings). Such speech is not connected with the surrounding environment, is not used in accordance with the contract in its content. Only after a prolonged correction, children begin to use clichés, more or less out of place.
Children with this version of language development does not delve into the meaning of what others have said, do not always understand, and therefore do not comply with verbal instructions. Due to the fact that their speech is very stereotyped, the dialogue with them is virtually impossible: they do not answer the questions themselves were never asked. These children are motor awkward, disturbed not only common, but also fine motor (finger and articulation) is not significantly reduced muscle tone, all of which further hinders their speech development.
